Expensive and worth it. Don't bother looking at the menu. Just get the Down East Lobster Experience. The lobster is amazing, but so is the clam chowder that starts the meal. Wait till you get the blueberry pie with homemade ice cream. Waitress was very kind and fun. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was very special.

Review edited 4 years later: We had Calvin as our server. He was wonderful! So personable and informative. Our review still stands the same. 5 star on food, service, and atmosphere! We love it here. Love the atmosphere (both outside or inside). Food is awesome! If you like Bloody Mary's.. try one, you won't be disappointed.

We are a family group of 2 seniors, two adults, and two children. So we had to pick a seafood restaurant that had something for everyone. Stewman's did not disappoint. We were seated quickly, which was a great surprise since we had passed other restaurants with lines. We chose outside in the shade (hot, sunny day), which delightfully meant on the dock under the upper deck. It was all open with a beautiful breeze and the water under our feet. The kids had chicken fingers and fries. My husband and I shared 'The Pier House Catch – “The Boat Docks Here”' Crisp Battered Haddock Fillets, Whole Sweet Belly Clams, Shrimp and Scallops with French Fries, Coleslaw and Tartar Sauce. Yum. The great food, ambiance, and service made Stewman's the best choice for our family.

If you’re looking for a place for a great lobster roll look no further. Fairly priced and HUGE chunks of quality lobster meat in ver light mayo. Clam chowder was delicious and full of clams. Dessert was a delicious slice of chocolate cake with complementary soft serve ice cream.

I came to Bar Harbor on a group trip and we absolutely loved it here! Our waitress was so interactive and fun. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was perfect.

Great service and delicious food! We had the smoked fish dip - very tasty - and followed with a Pier House Catch - we couldn't decide between the fish and chips and oysters, so we got everything in this basket, and it did not disappoint! We finished up with blueberry pie which was amazing. We started off with spicy margaritas which were great as well. The service was outstanding! Coming from Texas we had a great time and would definitely come back again!

Absolutely delicious! Fantastic seating! Great view! Our server was excellent! He kept us laughing. Great sense of humor! Thank you, sir. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We will be making a trip back again. Thank you.
